Derek Kreymer's journey into private investigation began when he joined a bounty hunting team in Rhode Island. Early in his career, he worked under an experienced Private Investigator and Field Manager who relied primarily on traditional private investigation methods, such as door knocking, witness interviews, and surveillance. While these techniques had proven effective for decades, Derek quickly recognized that technology could significantly enhance the speed and efficiency of investigations.

After working on his first few cases, Derek began teaching himself how to leverage technology as a force multiplier. He immersed himself in social media investigations, online research, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to locate individuals and uncover valuable information. By combining publicly available intelligence with traditional investigative techniques, he minimized unnecessary fieldwork and concentrated his efforts on evidence-driven leads.

As his experience grew, Derek Kreymer began conducting fugitive investigations independently. Every case reinforced an important lesson: successful investigations require adapting to the way people communicate and live in today's digital world. Social media activity, online relationships, public records, and digital footprints often reveal critical information that traditional private investigation methods alone may never uncover.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Derek joined Hub Security & Investigation Group as a Security Supervisor, where he oversaw security operations for bars, special events, and commercial clients. As the company expanded its investigative division, he transitioned into private investigative work. With the support and mentorship of Hub Security & Investigation Group, Derek earned his New Hampshire Private Investigator License.

Today, Derek continues to work in partnership with Hub Security & Investigation Group, collaborating on investigations that extend across state lines. This partnership enables clients to benefit from expanded investigative resources, broader expertise, and a coordinated approach to complex cases, now under the banner of Kreymer Investigative Group.
